The six steps
Script, Brief, Narrator, Look, Thumbnail, Produce — and what you control at each.
Every video moves through six steps. Completed steps stay clickable, so you can go back and change anything. Nothing is charged until the final confirm.
1 · Script
The script streams in as it is written, then becomes fully editable: the title, and every line, in a screenplay layout. One paragraph is one narrated line.
A live readout shows the estimated runtime against the length you ordered, the beat count and the word count. If a length-fitted version is ready, a Trim to N min button appears.
↻ Rewrite starts the script over from your prompt.
Spend your time here. Everything downstream follows this text.
2 · Brief
The plan for the video on one screen: the runtime as a range, the scene count, the estimated credits, and how many live sources the run will draw on, with a sentence describing what the video will cover.
Nothing is editable here. It is a checkpoint. Go back if the plan is wrong, and the plan is rebuilt when you change the script.
3 · Narrator
About seventy voices in the built-in set, plus a searchable library of over 100,000.
Filter by favourites, gender, accent (American, British, Australian, Indian, Spanish, Mexican, Brazilian, Nigerian, Southern US), tone (deep, warm, calm, energetic, dramatic, authoritative, gravelly, dry) and age. Press play on any card to hear it, and star the ones you want at hand next time.
4 · Look
Two choices, described fully in Tone and style:
- Video style — the visual grammar, previewed as real frames
- Caption style — the typography, previewed in each style's real font
Plus an expandable panel for backgrounds and palette: your own frames behind cards, and an accent palette for counters, charts and rank cards.
5 · Thumbnail
Six concepts designed from your script. Pick one, or paste any YouTube link to use its composition as a reference and have it re-imagined for your topic — nothing is copied from the original.
Skipping is fine; a frame from the video becomes the poster. Your choice also becomes the thumbnail when you publish to YouTube.
6 · Produce
The last screen before anything is spent.
Motion graphics. Browse around a thousand templates, search and filter them, and blocklist any you never want in this video.
Advanced. Everything is on by default; each switch removes a whole layer.
| Switch | Removes |
|---|---|
| Disable animations | Animated text reveals, springs, kinetic effects |
| Disable overlays | Image pops, logos, date stamps, the caption bar |
| Disable effects | Colour grading, film grain, vignettes |
Production effort. Four tiers, each with its own credit estimate:
| Tier | What changes |
|---|---|
| Fast | Fewer candidates per shot, no review pass — quickest and cheapest |
| Standard | Balanced: several candidates per shot, a review pass on every beat |
| Deep | The most candidates, with identity checks and re-review — best accuracy |
| Verified | Deep, plus every factual claim checked against primary sources and corrected, and no AI-generated images — for law, finance and brand work |
A live quote shows the estimated credits and a ceiling. Confirming opens one last sheet, and only then are credits spent.
