What a minute costs, when it is spent, and what happens when you run out.
Minutes and credits are the same unit. One credit is one minute of finished video.

Launch, Starter and Creator can be paid annually at ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. Pro and Scale are monthly.
Renders at once is how many videos can produce simultaneously. Beyond that they queue and start automatically as slots free.
When minutes are spent
At the Produce step, when you confirm — never before.
You can write a script, rewrite it five times, audition fifty narrators, try every look and generate thumbnails without spending anything. The moment of commitment is the confirm sheet, and it tells you exactly what it will cost.
What happens when you run out
Nothing unexpected. There is no overage and no surprise charge. An empty balance simply stops new generations and offers an upgrade.
Everything you have already made stays exactly where it is. Nothing is deleted, nothing expires.
You will get an email when your balance drops to about a fifth of your plan, and another when it reaches zero.
Monthly minutes and top-ups
Plan minutes reset each month and do not roll over.
Top-ups are for subscribers. Buy any amount from $25 upwards; it converts at your own plan's per-minute rate, so a higher plan makes top-ups cheaper too. Top-up minutes are spent only after your monthly minutes are gone, and they never expire while your subscription is active.
Free minutes
New accounts get a small one-time grant of free minutes so you can try the product properly. It is a lifetime grant: it does not renew monthly. While you are on it, video lengths beyond your remaining balance are locked.
Your exact balance is always shown on the length chip in the studio and on your account page.
Billing problems
A failed payment gives you a three-day grace period during which everything keeps working. After that, generation stops until the payment method is updated.
A disputed payment freezes generation until it is resolved by a person.
Where to see it all
Your account shows your plan, minutes remaining, and a full billing history with a readable line for every grant, purchase and video.
