Length and format

How long the video runs and how the script is written.

Length

Seven lengths: 1, 3, 5, 8, 15, 25 and 45 minutes. The default is 5, or whatever your brand profile sets.

If your prompt names a length, the chip follows it. Write "a 4-minute explainer" and Vidax sets the nearest length it offers and tells you it did.

The finished video lands close to the length you ordered, not exactly on it — the script is written to a word budget and then fitted, so expect a range rather than a stopwatch match.

On a free balance

Lengths longer than the minutes you have left are locked and link to pricing. The chip shows your remaining free balance.

Format

Format is how the script is written, separate from how the video looks.

FormatVoice
AutoPicks the format from your topic
News reportDated, attributed, wire-service voice
DocumentaryCold open, measured narration
ExplainerFast, direct, answers a question
StoryCharacter-driven narrative
Top-10 / countdownRanked items, each with a payoff
CommentaryAn opinionated take with a thesis

Auto reads your own words. Say "a news style video on…" and it picks News report. Say "top 10…" and it picks the countdown.

Format also decides whether the run reads today's coverage. A current event does; a settled historical subject works from the record instead.
