VIDAX / LEGAL
Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 5 September 2026
Vidax produces finished video from a brief you write. You own what you make; you are also responsible for it. This policy sets out what may not be produced or published using the service, and applies to every account operated by Social Jool LLC.
You may not use Vidax to produce
- Material that impersonates a real person. Do not use the avatar or narration features to depict a real, identifiable individual saying or doing things they did not say or do. Uploaded presenter photos must be of yourself, or of someone whose written consent you hold.
- Deceptive claims about real events. Fabricated news, invented quotes attributed to real people, forged documents, or synthetic evidence presented as genuine.
- Content that harasses or targets private individuals, or that incites violence or hatred against people on the basis of who they are.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any sexual content depicting a real person without their consent. This results in immediate, permanent termination and, where required, a report to the authorities.
- Material that infringes copyright you do not hold, or that breaches the terms of any platform you publish to.
- Fraud, malware, or unlawful activity of any kind.
Footage and third-party material
Vidax assembles videos partly from third-party sources — stock libraries, public web material, and platform content — under the licences available to us. That material is licensed for use within the finished videos the service produces. You may not extract, redistribute, resell or republish source clips, images or audio outside a finished Vidax video, and you remain responsible for confirming that your published output complies with the rules of any platform you post it to.
Automated systems and honest limits
Vidax researches topics and sources footage automatically. It can be wrong. Facts, attributions, figures and footage matches should be reviewed before you publish, especially for journalistic, legal, medical or financial subjects. We provide an editor for exactly this reason. Publishing is your editorial decision, not ours.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy, and may remove offending projects. Where a breach is serious — particularly the sexual-content and impersonation rules above — we will act without notice. Reports go to [email protected].
